Who the data belongs to
There are two kinds of people here. Developers hold an account with us. End users are the people using a developer's app, who never have an account and are identified only by a random install id generated on their device. For end-user data the developer is the controller and we are the processor: it is their data, held on their behalf.
What we store
- Developer accounts: email address, and the GitHub account id and avatar if you sign in that way.
- Knowledge you add: the documents you paste or the pages we crawl from a site you nominate.
- Conversations: the questions end users ask, the answers given, a random install id, and the app's platform, version and bundle id. No device identifiers, no contacts, no advertising id, no location.
- Operational records: per-message token counts and cost, so usage and quota can be shown accurately.
Who else processes it
We use these sub-processors and nothing else. Payments never touch our servers.
- OpenAI — generates answers and embeddings (United States)
- Supabase — database hosting (EU (Ireland))
- Vercel — application hosting (EU and United States)
- Resend — transactional email (EU (Ireland))
- Upstash — rate limiting (EU)
- Polar — payments, as merchant of record (United States)
Training
Questions and answers are sent to our AI provider to generate a reply and are not used to train their models. We do not train models on your content either.
Keeping and deleting
Conversations and knowledge are kept until you delete them. Deleting an app removes its knowledge, keys and conversations; closing your account removes everything. Deletion is immediate in the live database and follows through backups within 30 days.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, its correction, or its deletion, and object to processing. Write to support@react-native-support.com and we will answer within 30 days. An end user should contact the developer of the app they were using, who can delete the conversation from their dashboard; we act on their instructions.
